Have you tried searching for typical wall/window/door section drawings? Check the website of the manufacturer of the door and window you would like to use.  Most major window/door manufacturers have available for free download plan views, elevations and section details in CAD form both in 2D and 3D.  It doesn't get much easier than that. ------------- "Humans have a strength that cannot be measured.
