hi all,

 
please help me .. since i have a dwg which .. when i draw a 10 by 10 rectenangle..it seem ok ie: area = 100 perimeter is 40..etc...
 
and i copy it.. it still ok.. but, ehn i rotate it.. ie by 15deg.
then list it .. the area is 100.00000012 and perimeter is 40.00000015...etc..
 
anyone know what happening in it.. ??
 
p.s. those in world UCS.. and elev=0...

What version of AutoCAD are you using?

LOL reduce your precision to something two decimal places larger. That should solve it!

i am using 2011 now..
but this problem was found pervious version ie: 2004 2008 and 2010^^

Are your coordinates large, such as over 1,000,000?
AutoCAD is notoriosly lousy at accurate calculations when objects have large coordinate values.

Yeah,
I had this issue in the past too.
After I move it as close as possible to 0,0.. the problem solved.
