I can type in any hieght at the "Contour style manager" and it does not change the size of my lables? I'm using Desktop 2005. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Could it be that the text height has been preset using the Style command?

Thank you John for your responce. I figured it out sort of. I was using "standard" for the text style and it would alow me to type in a hieght yet it did not change. If i choose L140 or L500 the hieght is fixed yet L140 fits my needs so I'll go with that for now. Is there a text style that works better in labling contours that is sizable? Thanks again.

If your style has a height (other than zero), you will not be able to alter the size from the contour label manager. You'll either have to choose to use a style with a set value of zero or alter the style.

You can go back into the Style command and reset the fixed height to "0" for styles L140 and L500.
