Could anyone let me know if its possible to import DWGs from Autocad. Ive tried copying and pasting but Inventor seems to run very slow and then crashes.

In and IDW you have to start a sketch then click on the autocad button in the ribbon on top under the sketch tab. You can also paste a DWG into an IPT but only if you are in sketch mode.
