Anytime I save an xref, I get the following in the command line when I reload the xref at the sheet level:
** File P:\New Drawings\ROCKWALL 030706\xref files\9A-AD1A.dwg isn't a valid drawing. *Invalid*
This just started yesterday. I am using AutoCAD Architecture 2011. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

What is the source of the xref? Did it come from a client or another sub-contractor perhaps?

Nope. A file I created. This problem also started on 3 other machines...two 2011 and one running 2012.

Have you tried running a PURGE and AUDIT on the file?

When you run PURGE do you delete all unreferenced RegApps?

Yes, I purge everything.

First run the command line version of purge and specifically target REGAPPS all by themselves. Then go back and do it a second time but select the option "ALL". Then run the AUDIT command. Finally, save the file before doing anything else.
