Running AutoCAD 2008. Recently the temporary alignment path lines have disappeared when I use OST although it still appears to function otherwise. Autosnap system variable is 55. Thanks for any ideas.

Did you happen to recently use a custom lisp routine that you downloaded from somewhere else?

Now it's working again but I didn't change any settings. I had compared a number of them to what a co-worker was set for but nothing appeared to be different. I give up!

The "magic" fix.  Are you related to Harry Potter?  LOL

Well for the time being you just have to accept that it works and continue on but it would be nice to know 1) what caused the problem in the first place and 2) what changed that the problem no longer exists.
