Depending on the 3D object types used in the DWG you should be able to load the DWG directly into Inventor or use AutoCAD to export it to a neutral 3D format. ------------- Vladimir Michl (moderator) ARKANCE - https://arkance.world" rel="nofollow - https://arkance.world - Autodesk Platinum Partner Posted By: mkeyes Date Posted: 10.Aug.2011 at 22:41 It's the 3d DWG block 42" Flat Screen TV under architecture/devices/electronics...  I tried importing into inventor repair environment and no luck.  I can see the objects in the preview window of the import wizard but nothing is coming through to ipt.  I can open the file in autoCAD but can't work with it...?  It dosen't import as a DXF either.  What am I missing?  Thanks. ------------- MK
