I am trying to make a weldment in Inventor 2009 and was wondering if anybody knew which type of filler material was for Mild Steel...we use .035 dia wire.

Are you looking for the standards welding symbol for Mild steel?

Later I can give you any answer.

I don't need the symbol.  What I did was, converted a test assembly to a weldment.  In the weldment section of Inventor you can specify what type of filler (welding wire for MIG) you are using so that it adds that to the calculation for weight of the welded assembly.

I was also thinking that it would actually show the fillet weld I was trying to do but I couldn't get it to show, so I guess it is only going to add the weight to its calculations.
