You are asking if someone here can provide you with a idea for a new machine (an invention) that you can submit for your final project.  Is that correct or have I misread your question?

Will the design be in 2D, 3D or both?

I do but if I gave it to you then the next thing I know is you've shared it with some friends of yours in India and they start making and selling MY invention.  I would not be very happy about that now would you?  Your friends would be getting rich on my idea and I'd still be working the job I got now.

You can't come up with an idea of your own?  Have you looked at any design books for inspiration?  What have you done so far other than to post here for coming up with an idea?

How about designing a new type of bicycle?  How about a new type of wheelchair?  A futuristic design for a replacement to the space shuttle?  Use your imagination.  Isn't that why you got into mechanical engineering?  Design a lawn mower that doesn't use wheels.  Design a boat powered by compressed air.  Go down to the local bar with your friends and have a couple of beers and start bouncing ideas off one another.  Many an inspiration has been found in the pursuit of alcohol.

Hi...,
My dear i think you should be work on exciting machines to create into something different.Any new ideas comes from the basis,so work on old machine to create innovative machine.
