Hi,

I need to measure a route (e.g. polyline) by consecutive clicks.

The command "dist" allows me to measure only one tract at a time. What I need to do is measure the distance along various pointsby consecutivly clicking those points.

So there is actually NO line or curve (object) to measure. I need to measure the sum of the distance between various objects on the drawing.

I hope I have been clear.

I do this operation several hours (manufacturing) a day so it would be very helpful if someone can indicate a solution or even an approach.

You can use our DIST2 utility - see the Related tip 6085 and the Download page.
