Can I know what AutoCAD application is suitable for a geoscientist or Mining Engineer who has not got started with any AutoCAD application at all and will like to learn AutoCAD in relation to the Gescience/Mining sector. ------------- Priest |

It might be suitable with some sort of add-on program. You'll be working strictly in 3D right?

Thank you John, I will be doing 3D like you had rightly stated. Kindly confirm to me what add-ons are applicable or you are familiar with.

There is one add-on I know of called Mapworks Mining for AutoCAD available from DotSoft. http://www.dotsoft.com/mwmining.htm There is also Carlson Mining 2012. http://carlsonsw.com/PL_CS_Mining.html And one last product called PROMINE. http://www.promine.com/ No, I do not have any experience with these programs.
