For some reason my AutoCAD decided to change some weird setting today. Now if I have any objects selected before I try and do a command, AutoCAD de-selects everything and makes me reselect objects when I hit the command. This is the same situation even when I try to erase; I can't just select an object and hit the "delete" button. I have to click erase, then select the object, then hit enter. I also can't double click to edit blocks or text. Instead, I must type in the appropriate command, then select it.
Does anyone know what setting this is and how I change it back to normal? Not only are there extra buttons to press (since CAD is my job, time is of the essence), it's just not how I'm used to doing things, so that also adds time.

Try the PICKFIRST system variable. Just type in PICKFIRST and set it to 1.
