Hi!

Suppose that i draw a square on the ground and I want to add grass texture material on it, how would I do that?

I already tried numerous ways the most efficient being with the Loft command (to create a surface) but unfortunately i have more than a simple square to apply texture on. I have more complex 2d forms.

As you can see I have the 4 roads leading to the building  to texture with asphalt. And all the green zones to texture with grass. But all those curves are giving me a hard time!

The Loft command did not completely covered the green zones.

I am using Autocad 2011 Fr. If you do have English commands to suggest don't worry i'll check and translate.

You can't add textures to a true 2D object; it would have to be 3D.  You could however use a JPG to add what appears to be a texture.

You can add textures do 2D Region-type objects and view them in the Realistic view style. See the picture in the tip:
