Hey folks, new guy here.

I work for a small company (sales guy, manager guy, engineering guy (me)) and recently switched to AutoCAD2007.  I'm trying to set up title blocks and I like using the fields to populate information on each sheet in a drawing.

My question is about revision tables.  Most of my drawings have multiple layout tabs (I suppose that's the correct term) and I don't want to have to fill in the same data on each sheet.  What is the best way to create and populate a revision table (without using Vault)?

Best way I can think of is to start by creating a set of custom fields.  Use DWGPROPS and add some new ones, REV01, REV02, etc and provide default values for them (probably just a spacebar ea to start to keep them as blanks).  Then use the field calls in your title blocks.  This will automatically update any/all occurances.
