I hope you can help me. I don't have a receipt. If you cannot, I understand, because my wife works retail.

My son is a United States Marine. He is stationed at Twentynine Palms, California. For Christmas he gave me a set of beatstour (red) headphones. He purchased them on 12/22/2011 at a Best Buy in Phoenix on his way to Houston. I live in Alameda, California. Our family all reunited in Houston for the holidays. I mention our locations since neither of us can return these headphones to the store.

When the headphones work, they work great. Though the right earbud works 100% of the time, the problem is that the left earbud sounds scratchy with even the slightest movement. If I hold perfectly still, it sounds great. Even movement as small as opening and closing my mouth affects the sound. It's as if the wire is not securely connected to that bud. I have experienced the problem on both my iPhone 4S and my iPod, so it is not the devices. My old headphones work great on these same devices.

I am not seeking a refund, so is it possible to swap out my current pair for another even though I don't have a receipt. I have been a Monster customer for decades.
