Can anybody post up sample images of your page layouts?

In my office we print on Legal (8.5x14) and Tabloid (11x17) for pretty much everything.  I'm having trouble communicating with a machine shop and the shop foreman over revisions.  ::rolleyes::

I need a lot of space to describe what was changed, basicly colums for:
rev. number, rev. date, rev. discription.
Apparently the machine shop wants really really specific descriptions too.

I've taken to just saying ex. "1) 5-2-08, ends trimmed, radius added, changed dimensions are circled"  and then circling all the changes in the layout.

Is this normal?  suggestions?

I use a revision tag that has a page number and revision number along with a 'bubble' in the drawing area. Then I have a single revision log in the title block that corresponds with the revision tags.

What version of AutoCAD are you using. I would be happy to attach a drawing file.

architechture 2008

The application here is part drawings to be manufactured.  Mostly lasercut steel peices, bent sheetmetal, rolled pipe, etc.
