Good Morning world!

Get the coffees in.

I was wondering if you guys can help me out with something i don't know if
i make myself clear.

For example say if i have some blocks in my tool palette
can i add custom attributes to that block for example i know how much each component weighs,
is it possible to create a field for the value that will display in the properties box.

Thanks guys

Including attributes is part of the block definition process.  You can put blocks that contain attributes on a tool palette, yes.  Attribute values do  show up in the Properties Manager when you select a block object.  But they won't show up on the tool palette.

If you want to see (or not see) what the particular attribute values are for a particular block, you need to either make them visible or invisible when you define the block.  That's up to you.

Hope this helped.
Dave.

Awesome, just what I wanted to know, Thanks for your response Dave.

I now understand, only thing left to do is the drawn out task of getting my blocks perfect with attributes as there are 100's if not 1000's

We  love it, hahah

Have a good weekend
