At the University Zuyd in Heerlen we use Autocad 2005.

We installed this as network version using the deploy function. When we login with administrator rights we get a autocad installation sequence. This is not a problem because we have admin rights.

However as normal users login, they get a autocad install wich they can’t finish because they don’t have the right to install. We managed to get autocad running for these users by copying part of the registry and a profile path. The problem is now, every time a user tries to login he will get a autocad install wither he wants to work with autocad or not.

I looked already in the registry and removed anything from the RUN section, but I can’t stop this install.

Do you have a solution or something I can try to prohibit this initial install.

With kind regards,

Huub PaasWink
