Don’t know how/where to post this.

 

Retired 6 years and forgot much. Too hard to find in help.

Sorry to be old and forgot so much. I used to know stuff like this. My dimensions are way too big for DWG scale and I don’t remember how to fix. I have a screen shot. Also version is old-2006. Can some one offer quick fix?

You might have to go into your Dimension Style and make some adjustments.

DimStyle is the command.

Thanks for your reply.

Between the time I posted this and got your reply, I diddled around with it and fixed it. I’m annoyed with myself that I don’t remember stuff and I get impatient and go to the forums instead of just trying to figure it out myself.

Here’s my next dummy question:

 

When I have general tech questions, what’s the link for the right forum to post them in?

 

I haven’t messed with ACad in 6 years and I’m real foggy but now I need it for some personal stuff.

(Memory deficit disorder) I’m going to need a lot of help to get up and running again.

This forum is fairly limited in terms of forums to post to.

Yes, it was a typo.  It should have read...WHERE exactly are you located?  What city/state do you live in?

Are you working with metric drawings? Did you choose ISO or other metric template when you start?

Edwin: The OP solved his problem.  And "no" he is not working with a metric drawing.
