I have a couple of wall mounted devices that have text inside of them. I am using the alignment parameter to automatically align the device to the angle of the wall, however I want the text inside of the device to stay at 0 degrees when it is inserted from the tool palette.

If I am using 2008, I can use an Annotative Text Style and set the text to match the orientation to the layout, however, I am using AutoCAD 2007 which does not have Annotation :(

Does ANYONE have any ideas on how to do this?  I have been searching forever!

Thanks

Not in plain AutoCAD, not in this older version. Sorry.
