hello there everyone,
Im new here and new to CAD ive recently been putting some thought into making my own version of a parabolic dish for nature recording (sure you've had this come up before) what i want is a parabolic dish in cad to send to a vacuum forming company to be made to my personal specifications, however im not quite sure how to do it. and i thought where best to go than a CAD forum, hope im not above my station here, and hope i haven't posted in the wrong section, any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!

I would suggest that it be done as a 3D model and then have any required 2D views (top, front, side, etc.) extracted.
What program were you considering using?
