Hi,
I make a window by MV in layout tab and adjust a view in it. Now I want to rotate a view in vertical direction by Rotate command but its not working. Its not rotating the view in diff. angle but it revolving the view in circle like round round but not rotating in virticaly or horizontaly. what I do?

i also know it is very simple in give command rotate and select the line of viewport n pick it from base point n rotate it but problem is that it is not rotating. when i pick the base point n rotate it then it move round round like circle but not rotating in verticaly horizontly. I think some option in settings is ON or OFF therefore that prob is created but now i dot know how solve it

It sounds like you are using the wrong command but I'm not sure which program we are talking about.  Your profile says Inventor but this sounds like an AutoCAD question to me.

The way it works in plain AutoCAD is controlled by a variable called VPROTATEASSOC.

Set to 1, the view within a viewport is rotated with the viewport.

Set to 0, the view remains the same when the viewport is rotated.

which command u telling it works upto 2009 version but im using 2007 version and in it its not any command

You are not using correct command. For this you should use mvetup command at paper space mode and then select align option, press enter and then select rotate view, specify base point into the view port, specify angle from base point or by cursor, then enter. Your view port inner dwg. Will rotate

Hello Asrar, you can also use the command "PLAN" after having set an UCS in accordance with the view that you want.
If you set your UCSFOLLOW on <1>, any change of UCS will rotate your view in accordance with your UCS ( this is good as being automatic, but as you will get an extended zoom for any UCS change it can be tiring for your eyes ).
You can also set an UCS in accordance to a view with the option "V" ( for View ).

4.  R for Rotate view
This will activate the viewport (make the border bold) and place your cursor inside.  Click anywhere to specify the basepoint for the rotation.
5.  Specify your rotation angle (90-degrees, or whatever you want)
6.  Escape to end the command.
 
MVSETUP is a command that is only available in the full version of AutoCAD.  If you have LT you're out of luck, and another solution would be necessary.
