I have recently posted about applying text to a spherical surface and
following the advice of John Connor and in turn earlier advice on the
subject by JD Mather, I have been successful in part. However if my text
box exceeds the width of my spherical part the Extrude-Cut fails.
Is there a means of getting my 2D Text Sketch to wrap to a 3D curve and if so is this likely to overcome the above problem?
In other words how do I get a 2D Text Box to wrap around a Spherical
part without the above limitation of the width of the Text Box having to
be less than the width of the part as viewed during the sketch creation
window.
I realise that this is easy when executed on a cylinder but Inventor doesn't take quite so kindly to spheres.
Any ideas please?

Why don't you post your question in the AutoDesk Discussion Group for Inventor if you haven't already done so? Since you did not get a satisfactory answer the first time you posted here what makes you think you'll get one on the second go around?
Or...do it in AutoCAD then bring the results into Inventor.
