Trying to download & use a .dwf file from a column cap manufacturer. Each time I download the file, it opens with a page of code or something.. basically, I don't get what I need. I read a little about .dxf files and how they're antiquated. But I'd like to use the image file from this vendor. Since .dxf is an AutoCAD file extension, I should be able to use it, right? Could it be the website posted something bogus?

I'd download the DXF version open it in AutoCAD and create my own DWF.

Something easier that that, apparently, is to change the file extension to .dwg and it opens as I initially expected it to: a beautiful post cap in AutoCAD! Thanks anyway for the reply, JC!!
