As a follow up to http://labs.blogs.com/its_alive_in_the_lab/2012/07/into-africa-how-autodesk-is-helping-create-archaeology-20-by-gonzalo-martinez.html" target="_self - Into Africa: How Autodesk is Helping Create Archaeology 2.0 , my colleague, Gonzalo Martinez, posted this video of he and Shaan Hurley working with Dr. Louise Leakey in Africa. The thought is that one day the search for fossils could be crowd-sourced using high quality video and 3D modeling. Archeology is alive in the lab.
