Yes.  If the fonts end in the letters SHX put them in the AutoCAD Fonts folder.  If they end in the letters TTF (TrueType) they actually have to be "installed" (there is a procedure for this depending on the OS you are using).  These are the types of fonts used by other Windows programs such as Word, Excel, etc.
