Hi

When copying Layout Tabs, AutoCAD automatically Inserts a new number within Parentheses. This is great because it ties in with my drawings numbers. But I only want the number and not the Parentheses.

Burning Question, how the hell do I get rid of these!!!!!

Right click on the tab and rename it?

Yeah kind of negates what I am trying to achieve. The base is referenced to properties and Tab Name. and I can have 150 Tabs per project.

By renaming it is the way I do it at them moment but if I were able to remove the parentheses, it would save time.

Wouldn't something like that be hard coded?  Kind of like when AutoCAD adds a dash and the word Model or Layout1 to a PDF created within AutoCAD?
