How does the textmask out of express tools link to the text you select? The reason I ask is on my computer it links the mask to the text, which means when you delete the mask you delete the text and vice versa. On my friends machine when you mask his text the mask is seperate from the text, which means you can delete the text and effectively the mask is still there. Thought maybe a variable? But then this command is from express tools. Any help would be appreciated, as I have instances where I would like to use both ways of doing this (if there is in fact two ways).
Cheers Michael

Managed to solve this if anybody is interested. The variable is "Pickstyle" which you can set to 0,1, 2 or 3. Essentially it creates a group including the text and the textmask (depending on the setting).
