Hello all,

I know how I can import a picture into autocad

insert > raster image reference > ...

But when I send this drawing to a client, the image is missing because the computer can find the path.

How do I put an image into a drawing so I can copy it? If I go to properties I cannot change the properties of the pictures.

Thank you in advance!

Greetings.

If you're sending the actual drawing file to the client you'd have to use eTransmit to create a zip file containing all the styles and attachments/overlays.  But this assumes the client has AutoCAD as well and knows how to use it.

Your other option would be to plot the drawing to a PDF and send that (or a DWF if the client has Design Review).  This is probably more efficient for the client.

Dave.
