Our office has just upgraded to AutoCAD LT 2013 and are having a boat-load of problems. One major one is that none of our assigned linetypes will plot correctly. For instance, when I'm drawing a building section at 1:1 in model space it shows our hidden lines correctly displayed as a dashed linetype, but when I create a new layout for a half-size print (11x17) and set the drawing to be scaled at 1/4"=1'-0" when I click on the layout tab to plot the drawing the lines look solid and end up printing solid as well. When I type in the LTSCALE command it says that it's properly scaled at .2500 inches (1/4") and PSLTSALE command set at 1. So, I can't figure out why the linetypes won't print correctly. It could possibly be our assigned printer settings or an issue with our .CTB standards, but I can't seem to find anything wrong with those.

If anyone has any insight to this it would be greatly appreciated.

If you're setting custom linetype scales you will often run into display problems like this.  The general rule of thumb to start with is always the following:

LTSCALE=1
MSLTSCALE=1
PSLTSCALE=1
