Whenever I get a STEP file from a customer, I use Inventor Fusion to convert it to a dwg file. Whenever I do this, the model ends up being larger than it's supposed to be. For instance I got one file yesterday and one of the dimensions is supposed to be 0.375 in. When I convert it to dwg and check the dimension again, it measures 1.715.

I also tried using the "STEPIN" command in AutoCAD Mechanical 2013, but I get the same result. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix or way around this?

Thanks.

That's an odd increase in size of 4.57.  Doesn't make any sense.

Are the same units being used?

Got it figured out. Was using the wrong dimensions.
