Hello

I'm testing AutoCad 2010 here.. so, to create a wall using a line on top view.. after put the lines I go to view menu and put Isometric projection and I see the line in 3d perspective.. how to apply volume to my wall?

Using 3DS Max I can create the wall using Shell Modifier...

How to do the same using AutoCad?

Best Regards

Extrude is the command you are looking for.  But bear in mind that if you extrude a single line you will get a surface.  Extrude a closed polyline and you'll get a solid.

2010?  Then you probably also have the Polysolid command which would be ideal for creating walls.

That's the Ribbon you'll see if you are in the 2D Drafting workspace.  You need to change to the 3D Modelling workspace.  Look down in the lower right hand corner of your screen.  See the icon with the Gear on it?  Click it.  This is where you access the various Workspaces that will, in turn, affect how your Ribbon looks and what commands are available to you.

Hello
I Dotn use to work on 3D but i recently get a software to build my files in 3D (Covadis - French software working with ACAD use  for roads and utilities/levelling works)
I wont have to built my whole projects in 3D but it's interesting to create simple 3D objets
How can i create a surface from a simple polyline/3Dpolyline?
Thanks
Phil
