Hello,

I am trying to explode a pdf underlay in order to mdify the geometry in AC LT2014.  Does anyone know if this is possible or any other way to do it?  Turbocad v 20 Pro does thi very nicely.

thanks,
Al

I'd like to see that trick in any CAD software!

But I do know this:  in AutoCAD you can't explode a PDF.  It's a raster-based format.

And I think that's always the key whenever this, "... can I convert a PDF to a drawing?", question comes up.  It has everything to do with how the PDF was created in the first place.  If it's the plot of CAD program your odds are going to be pretty good.  But if it is a scan of a print ... basically just a picture ... things aren't going to go very well.  And it's very difficult to tell the difference between the two sometimes just by looking at them.
