I was wondering if there is a way to have my Civil 3d 2007 & 2008, as well as the normal Auto Cad 2007 & 2008 start-up with the set up I have created.  When I open up the programs they start up with the default start up drawing and I have to either open up a drawing the I have set up the way I like it (like a blank template drawing) or re-set all my settings like going to options and setting a profile I have there to current, then opening up the drawing I have saved because it has all of my layer settings and filter but have made blank by remover all of the original drawing.

Isn't there a way to have the program (Cad) started up automatically with all of these setting already in my start-up.

Thanks AL

Do you set up way for template in the options of Civil?

You can specify the name of your template file (DWT) - either in the program options (OPTIONS) or as a parameter of the runstring (acad.exe, in the desktop icon).
