I have created a dynamic block and scaled it multiple times to assign to different view port sizes. (I did this to keep the lineweights the same across any viewport size). The problem is, when i go to write the block, it loses all the dynamic properties. I need the ability to write a block for each size at scale, (anno balloon 48, anno balloon 96, etc.) I have tried to scale the block within the block editor and save as a new block, and that will keep the dynamic properties, but the "anchor" points do not scale correctly, so all of the stretch features are now useless.  I know in the future to use write block in the first place, but I really need a solution for the blocks already created. Any ideas?

If the system here lets you, please upload a drawing of just this dynamic block so we can debug it for you.  It sounds like you should be using the visibility parameter, but it's hard to tell what your problem may be without the block itself.

I realize this post is from 2012, but for the future; why not use annotative blocks that scale the block for you instead of making one for each view port size?
The other problem is you can't write block a dynamic block and just insert it; you create a block with in a block and get an error message.

Unfortunately this OP never got back to us... and unless or until (s)he does we may never know what the problem really was or how if it got solved... if it did.

One of my questions with this has always been about the content and whether or not it is being written into paper or model space.  Your point about creating a simple annotative block is an excellent one, and depending on the block itself and the use, may be the proper solution.

We just might never find out.  Guessing is often more frustrating than anything in these forums.
