I have used XREFs before and understand the principle around them.

I am currently drawing up a building and yard etc.  and keep making revisions to it. I also need to show the outline of buildings etc. on a site map, which is at a different orientation (Map showing north).

Instead of copying my most recent buildings, rotating and copying them over unto the site map, is there a way I can make the building that I have copied unto the site map dependant on my main drawing ?

Just like an XREF only not linked from an external drawing ......... Hope this makes sense

Try insert drawing as a block.

But the block will not automatically update ? I know what your saying, I could paste the new stuff into the block editor mmmmmmmmmmm I'll try that.

Thanks Pepa
