I seem to be having a problem using the FLATSHOT command in CAD. I type it in the command bar and it says "unknown command". I'm a new CAD user and just leard this fun little trick in a class but for some reason it does not seem to work on my work computer. Does anyone have an idea why this would be?

Well I know for a fact that full AutoCAD has the FLATSHOT command because I use it quite often but I don't recall LT having the command and that could be the source of your problem.  Look for a features comparison matrix for AutoCAD 2013 full and LT and see if it even shows up.

It would kind of make sense that there is no such command because while you can view 3D objects in LT you can't edit them.

Don't waste your time checking.  I notice that in Ellen Finkelstein's AutoCAD 2013/AutoCAD LT 2013 Bible she states the command i
s not found in LT.  Seems you are out of luck.  What are you working on that you need 2D views?
