I work somewhere with plot styles in place and was asked to plot a drawing with red lettering witht he standard grayed out plot style. I'm guessing that I would need to setup a new plot style to accomplish this. Help?

Do you plot using a CTB or STB plot style?

We use CTB styles and the office standard was setup over a decade ago.

First make sure all text that needs to be plotted in the color red is on its own layer. Second, assign a "True Color" to this layer. True Colors override any other color parameters.

Found this advice from Michael Beall, the "CAD Trainer Guy" at another website.
If, however, you want a monochrome plot for all layers except one, consider choosing a color from the True Color tab when assigning a color to a layer.
Colors from this tab have an RGB value and colors with an RGB value plot in color when a monochrome (or Grayscale) plot style is used.
