Hi! I`m new in the forum.
I have a question about the block editor of the acad 2008. The thing is that when I edit and save something with the block editor (the one with the yellow background), the units of the drawings goes to milimiters and the UCS goes to unknown. I Don´t know if it´s something in the configuration of the block editor or something in the creation of the block. This doesn´t happen if I edit the block reference in place.
Any clue is well received!!
thanks!

I got some little help see in AutoCAD help for more.
A UCS icon is
displayed in the drawing area of the Block Editor. The origin of the UCS icon
defines the base point for the block. You can change the base point for the
block by moving the geometry relative to the origin of the UCS icon, or by
adding a base point parameter.
The UCS command is
disabled in the Block Editor. You can open an existing 3D block definition in
the Block Editor and assign parameters to the block. However, the parameters
will ignore any Z coordinate values in the block space.
Consequently, the block reference cannot be edited along the Z axis. Furthermore, while you can create a dynamic block that
contains solid objects and add actions to it, such as move, rotate, and scale,
you can't perform solid editing features within a dynamic block reference (for
example, stretch a solid, move a hole within a solid, and so on).
So I think it is about your ucs.
