AutoCAD LT does not support 3D modeling, but you can create also 3D objects (with substantial limitations) in it (UCS, thickness...), but first of all you use it to open DWG drawings with 3D objects created in full AutoCAD, Civil, Inventor, 3ds Max and other 3D applications.
For drawing inspection or other auxiliary operations, it can be convenient to "spin" the 3D view interactively, even in the LT version, using the standard Shift+mousewheel key combination.
AutoCAD LT does not include the 3DORBIT command directly, but with a trick - a suitable combination of commands - can do just that:
So how to do that?
First, switch to the hidden edge mode with the SHADEMODE command. Then turn on the navigation panel (SteeringWheels) with the NAVBAR command and launch the full navigation wheel from it. Now you can press the Shift key and use your mouse wheel to get to the standard 3D Orbit around your 3D model.
