Q - question

How to find in a macro or LISP if the drawing is opened read-only?

A - answer The WRITESTAT variable is equal to 0 if the drawing is read-only (from version 14 onwards).

Another method of detecting the "read-only" state of your DWG drawing is the LISP function:

(vlax-get (vla-get-ActiveDocument (vlax-get-acad-object)) 'ReadOnly)
