By setting the SOLIDHIST variable to 0 you can make your DWG files (containing edited 3D solids) a bit shorter.
In a default setting, AutoCAD saves the editing history of 3D solids - i.e. the individual creator-objects (intersection, subtract...) for easier later re-editing. If you don't need this history, you can disable it using SOLIDHIST, with the BREP command or through the "History" setting in the Properties window (Ctrl+1).
