If you need to use an arithmetic expression in the text (value) of a dimension (addition, subtraction, subtraction, multiplication, etc.) you can use fields with expressions and the process described in the video in the Tutorial section in the Czech version of this web site.

See:

The field-based annotation may not obey the dimension style settings for the value (e.g. alternate units, rounding, dec.separator) and you will need to set these in the expression field properties.

For simple dimension calculations you can also use the DimsReplace utility - DL Download - replaces dimensioned distances with hard-coded texts with optional add/multiplication factors applied to the measured value.

You can also use parametric dimensions instead of the standard ones and perform any calculation in them - see DCLINEAR.
