Where did you get your copy of AutoCAD and Magicad?

Did you download and install all service packs for AutoCAD?  Yes or no?

is that Ok?

Are you using an onboard graphics chip or a dedicated graphics card?

What is the file size of the drawing that keeps locking up?

Is it 2D or 3D?

Did you run the Overkill, -Purge, and Audit commands on the drawing?

If you aren't going to answer the remainder of the questions there is no use continuing the conversation.  Without complete answers there can be no solution.

Service packs.  Use the ABOUT command.  When a window appears click on the Product Information button.  It should tell you there.
