Topic: STRECH command issues Posted: 16.Oct.2014 at 14:01 |
Hiya people. I'm new in the forum. I'm having issues with the STRECH command. Whenever I try to use this command, it streches all weird to a random point in the workspace. What can it be? Have any you experienced this problem?
(I've taken prints of the workspace during STRECH command)
BEFORE
DURING
AFTER
Thanks in advance

Is this a 3D drawing?
Are you using one of the hatch patterns that comes with the program or is it a custom pattern?
What is the elevation of the hatch pattern?

It's not 3D, the hatch is one of "other predefined", but I don't think the problem has something to do with the hatch. I checked all the objects and they're all zero valued in Z axis.

Actually, I got the problem solved by restarting the computer several times. Apparently, it's just an application bug. I'll close this thread. Thanks.

These threads are seldom if ever closed.
Have you installed the 2015 service packs?

I've installed the 2015 version of AutoCAD two weeks ago. If this installation isn't made automatically, then I think it's not updated yet.

Hello harrison and John, if I create hatches with different settings then the hatches that I will strech won't react the same, here are 4 examples with 4 different settings.

Service packs and hot fixes are not automatically downloaded and installed. That's left entirely up to the user.
