i am using lt 2000i and recently received a drawing converted 2007.

now facing with 2 problems.
 
i) couldn't copy,paste and wblock the part i need to another.
 
ii) could only save the part i need into another file name and then insert into the drawing. but problem is the files getting bigger and bigger, from 2mb can become upto 20mb, depending on how many time i insert the file.
 
pls help

These problems are known:
 
ad 1) there is a fix for A2007 - see:
 
ad 2) the layer filters can cause this - for other reasons see:
(you may also set your ISAVEPERCENT variable and use SaveAs)

Solution: (worked fine for me)

In Autocad2000 

-Create a new drawing 

-Insert the "problem file" as exploded block.

-Save it, and you can now Copy and Paste.


the hotfix may work but it doesn´t help you if you dont have Autocad2007.

Hope this helps anyone
