Try using the RECOVER command.  Maybe the file got corrupted somehow.

Do NOT uninstall AutoCAD.

Is there a .BAK file for the drawing?

Where did you get this drawing you are trying to open?

Have you tried opening it on another computer?

Hi rlowery521!
It can be third-party applications running inside AutoCAD. Or maybe your file is damaged, In this case you can try to recover it with the help of DWG Fix Toolbox.

rlowery: Whatever you do DON'T take the advice of the previous post.  It is a scam.

I see what this is now.  A thinly disguised attempt to point people with problematic drawings to a website of dubious character.  Basically, it was a SCAM!

Anyone else who comes across this thread should NOT click on the link provided above.

Why don't you guys get a life and stop pushing your crappy "fix" on unsuspecting CAD users.

The thread and this link are known scams and have no business on this website or any other website purporting to help AutoCAD users.  Why CADforum continues to let sh*t like this be posted is beyond me.  Other AutoCAD help websites like CADTutor, CAD Everything and The Swamp remove threads like this whenever they are started.  The fact that CADforum doesn't leads me to believe they are somehow complicit in the scam.  Show some integrity if indeed this is a reputable website.
