I have new AutoCAD field and want to understand the pros & cons for architectural visualization in Revit.

Revit is nothing like AutoCAD so comparing the two would be like comparing apples to cucumbers.  One is a fruit and the other is a vegetable.

I'd suggest you start by reading up on Revit at the AutoDesk website.  Have you done so yet?  Probably not judging by your question.  Start here:

Bottom line: YOU have to do your research in order to make an informed decision.  Nobody here or anywhere else can do that for you.  Understand?

The next step would be to contact your local AutoDesk reseller and ask if you can come in for an overview and demonstration of Revit.
