I can tell you how it might be done in generic AutoCAD but I don't know what options are available in Revit.
1) Flatshot 2) SectionPlane 3) SolProf 4) SolView/SolDraw 5) ViewBase Is that enough options for you? |

Converts 3D lines to 2D. Says nothing about extracting 2D views from 3D objects.

Stells, I can suggest you the path of auto cad 3D drawing to a 2D - Go to File Menu -> Export-> DWF.

A DWF file wouldn't be of that much use other than for viewing would it?
