Haven't seen a message like that since the DOS days and early AutoCAD.What else are you running in the background while using AutoCAD?How many sessions of AutoCAD do you run at one time? When did the problem first occur? What have you been tweaking or tinkering with on your computer?

Try to switch the [VAR]HIDEPRECISION[/VAR] variable.

Just curious. Is this a 32-bit or 64-bit system? What version of Windows are you running?  XP, Win7, other?

Re: HIDEPRECISION.The default setting for this variable is "0" meaning less memory needed, less calculation time consumed, but also less precision.  Unless you intentionally reset it to "1" to use more memory.  Did you?

Hide should normally have enough memory in either setting. Toggling its value switches to a completely different hide-algorithm which may solve the memory problem (because it sounds like a software bug).
